English

We teach English at multiple levels, beginning with basic conversation skills and moving up to Grade 5.

Our English classes go from 9:45am-11:45am Tuesdays & Thursdays and from 9:30am-11:30am on Saturdays.

We currently follow a schedule that will keep us in sync with the Columbus city schools allowing parents to be with their children during breaks.

Citizenship

We prepare our immigrant refugee friends for US citizenship, equipping them to understand the privileges and responsibilities that go along with being a good citizen. Our Citizenship class is 9:45am-11:45am on Wednesdays.

Soup Kitchen

We serve those that might be described as on the ‘fringe’ of society - those who are impoverished... those who suffer from chronic homelessness.

We host a weekly soup kitchen & pantry on Tuesday nights from 6:30-8pm.

Legal Clinic

The clinic exists to help low-income persons who are unable to afford a lawyer to take one step closer to resolving their legal issues. Interpreters are available on-call for any language upon request.

Participants are matched with an attorney with appropriate specialization or experience, so we do not operate on a “first-come-first-served” basis.  Rather, we will make sure participants have the best match to the skills of their lawyer.

The clinic is open the second Thursday of the month, 5:30-7:30 pm at Crossroads United Methodist Church, 1100 S. Hague Avenue.
